dSAF Dancer
you have to hold the manual wing sweep handle fully back for about 15 seconds, then it is able to oversweep it is in the manual by the way, but pretty hidden Louis|Dancer, foundation member of the digital Swiss Air Force, a group of enthusiasts trying to imitate everything that has to do with Swiss military aviation on dcs. Nealius
After putting the handle at 68, wait for the wings to sweep to 68. When they do, on the right knee annunciator panel you will see a HZ TAIL AUTH light. You have to wait a good 15 seconds or so for that light to extinguish. Then, and only then, can you move the handle to Oversweep.

bonesvf103
I think you also have to push the handle in before it allows you to pull the handle back to oversweep. Then, after you pulled it back to oversweep, you have to pull the handle up again. I may be off, but it's what I noticed. The reason why you have to wait 15 seconds besides the tailerons needing to be set clear of the wings is that the canvas air bag pockets under the wings in the wing glove have to deflate so that they aren't in the way for oversweep. v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. Sergeant_Hamlet
As I understand it, the airbags behind the wings have to deflate before the wings will oversweep. It isn't animated, but the wait is modeled. Edited March 15, 2019 by Sergeant_Hamlet
