[DCS World / FC3] SU-25A & SU-25T English Cockpit Mods

great mod

Ok. The part of some words in Read Me file was for those who were using an older version of the mod, but today those words are not necessary and cause confusion / misunderstanding.

Thanks for this mod but I can't get it to work. I am running 1.5.3, never installed any mod before this. I followed your instructions exactly.. I skipped the part about deleting previous mods obviously.

All I did was copy your mods folder from the zip, into the DCS World folder as instructed. This created an english directory in the correct place and in DCS World I selected English from the special option tab on the su25t and hit ok.

When I start up in the SU25t I still see a cockpit full of russian everywhere. Not sure what I did wrong here if you could help.

Nevermind... I am not sure if this is what fixed my issue but it seems to be working now after restarting DCS world again. However, not the entire cockpit is English. There are still reminants of russian on a few panels.

I'd say 90% is english but is this normal or is there a way to fix it?? Thanks again.

Bluelight, yes actually you're right. SU-25T mod is 90~95% in English. :D

But I couldn't find any problem about installation.

No texture or any update in ED side.

Ok its cool. Everything that is important is English so no prob. :)

Also I think it just had something to do with me needing to restart DCS... just some random hiccup everything worked after. Thanks again! :pilotfly:

Am I missing something here? I installed the mod and set the cockpit to "English" in the options. When I fly the training missions, the cockpit is still all in Russian ... :confused:

If you see "English" menu, the mod has to be activated.

Some users reported that they had to restart DCS World after selected the "English".

Devrim, perhaps you could add this to the next update? The toggle switch shown below on the right side panel is now animated and turns On/Off the Su-25T ECM pods if equipped.

As others have stated here - the key to getting it to work (other than installing it correctly), is to chose the English cockpit from the Special options menu, then quitting and reloading DCS

There was once a green lamp on the upper right side panel that illuminated when the ECM pods were activated, but it was removed at some point and replaced with the "ECM" letters on the HUD. Now we have the new animated toggle switch, the "ECM" letters on the HUD remain but no longer is there a green lamp. :smilewink:

Hi Winston. So sorry for late response!

Realized that moving house was an exhausting experience! I corrected something and re-saved some DDS files. I hope it's working. :)

Built a new computer so I would be able to enjoy this great work on the fantastic Su-25T !

Does the English mod also include the HD cockpit, or should I do that separately? Willing to have the writing in Russian if required for the HD cockpit.

I don't know the HD cockpit for SU-25T you mentioned, but I've just worked on stock SU-25T cockpit of ED.

I've also noticed a couple of discrepancies; on the right-hand panel the switch labelled "ПОМЕХА" appears to be the switch for ECM jamming (which makes sense from the google translation) - and the switch two positions to the right labelled "CARGO" is the switch for IR jamming.

Since ECM is supposed to be a pod, I assume that these switches are animated the wrong way round (e.g. activate cargo-based jammers).

Hi is it possible that it doesn't work anymore or I didn't install it right? I used JSGME and I activate it like the other one but it is still in Cyrillic. I also activate it in the special menu of the option like the read me suggest.
