The Tempest

A Tempest would be good; a Typhoon better!

During the bulk of the Normandy campaign the Tempests were based in SE England on Anti-Diver (V-1 interception) operations and only saw action over French soil on the run up to and during the early stages of the Invasion.

A Tiffie makes a better fit with the current map and timescale defined by ED as being represented.

If, however as intimated there are further WW2 maps planned and that takes operations further East then the Tempest surely comes more into play.

We're getting an AI Tiffie apparently. One hopes eventually a cockpit would follow at some point.

Considering the other aircraft we have and are getting, including the Me262, the Hawker Tempest V would be fantastic!

It was the best Hawker aircraft of the war and a tribute to the pinnacle of their achievement. Ultimately it was a later version of the Typhoon and the most dangerous aircraft to counter the Me262.

Happy landings,
