Vannipo
I can't sleep anymore. I am dreaming about it. All night long. Where is this mysterious Button6, physical Button 19?
Sokol1_br
Assuming that you are talking about T50 grip is the back position of the two postion "slider" under index finger at righ of top of grip (assuming you are using a RH T50). https://i.imgur.com/3tyIYk7.png This button number on grip depends on firmware loaded, for convenience this same slider can assume different buttons number. https://virpil.com/images/blog/forums/VPCButtonMap.jpg As you VPC configurator picture show in their right side you can change the relation between logical and physical number as you wish. BTW - For actual games, button number don't mater, but only if they are ON or OFF. ;) Edited October 6, 2018 by Sokol1_br

Karon
If you are asking if the fact that the button is activated with the slider nope: one is a button, the other is an axis. DCS detect those two separately: you assign the slider in the "axis" controls section, the button everywhere else. When you pull the slider both trigger. I haven't found a use for that button yet but, for instance, it can be used to control brakes in game that doesn't support axis. Vannipo
Yes, e.g. for the SU-33. This switch on the top side is at my config Button 17+19. I just loaded the default config for this combo (WarBRD+MT50, as the screenshot shows). Maybe there is just something wrong with the default setup. So, I have 23 buttons (virtual brake-lever button included). How many do u have?
Sokol1_br
23 buttons + POV is correct for T50, that have the same buttons number of Warthog, see the comparative posted above.
Vannipo
Nope, I think 23 Buttons included POV, is correct. And I found out, that on this drawing https://virpil.com/images/blog/forums/VPCButtonMap.jpg Button 6 is missing, too. Noone has Button 6. U dont have a Button 6. So, I think, I dont know, they just forgot Button 6. Or they wanted to match the buttons to the Warthog, which has no button 6, too. Thank you very much. I just wanted to be sure, that there is no button, which is e.g. a 5 way hat, that doesn't work properly on my stick. Now I am a bit disappointed, cause I hoped so :D 5-way-Hats needed. Vipril. Sokol1_br
So, I think, I dont know, they just forgot Button 6. Or they wanted to match the buttons to the Warthog, which has no button 6, too. Warthog don't has button 6 neither 13, 14, 15, for whatever reason skip this four buttons. Why I was wrong with with "23 + POV HAT", is 19 physical buttons + POV HAT. :P Bah! Unless for a very old game that look for e.g. weapons trigger in button 1... joy button numbers are just numbers. :D
Vannipo
Bah! Unless for a very old game that look for e.g. weapons trigger in button 1... joy button numbers are just numbers. :D Yes, that's why I said: I just wanted to be sure, that there is no button, which is e.g. a 5 way hat, that doesn't work properly on my stick. Yeah, I don't care the numbers, too. I press the button ingame. Done. Thanks!
Goblin
I don’t get it... This button no. 6?
Vannipo
Nope. Just read the first post, including the screenshot. This Button 6 in the VPC Software. Its just a ghost. The T50 has 19 Buttons + POV.
Goblin
I see! In your first post you are confusing physical button 6 and physical button 19, which is logical button 6. No, there are no physical button 6, but there is a logical button 6. :)
