Communications stop as soon as Bf109 is airborne...

Using the PTT assigned button, "\" I can easily talk to anybody whilst the aircraft is on the ground as we normally do. Tested ATC, Wingman, Ground crew, etc. No problems.

But as soon as the aircraft leaves the ground, the PTT button no longer works!

Messing around with the radios, I can't seem to get any comms to work when airborne.

Hard to believe this could really be a bug, am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks for any help in this!

Hi, I don't own this module, but with most others you have to bind your PTT button to" R-alt \"

Then you will probably have more success.

  • 2 weeks later...

dont forget, that the 109 only has 4 preset channels, if you havent selected the correct one, or simply dont have the frequency of an airbase set for a channel, you will most likely not get a response. however contacting the groundcrew without preset channel should work always while on the ground.

for the radio menu itself see mondaysoff hint above ;)
