Couldn't find it in newsletters but this was mentioned by Wags somewhere in a list of future improvements. Doubt its in 2020 though.

My guess is 2021 for DCSW 3.0 or whatever they call it with Vulkan API and the new Dynamic campaign.

It's in the Mudspike interview with Wags: https://www.mudspike.com/mudspike-ama-with-eagle-dynamics-senior-producer-matt-wagner/

The biggest improvement for VR will be based on the new graphics engine that is already well into development. The new graphics engine will take advantage of GPU Multi-Threading and the Vulkan API. This is one of the highest priorities of our core features team.

Off the top of my head, we may probably get A-10C and Ka-50 updates/facelifts, Mi-24P, P-47D and/or Mosquito, Perhaps F4U1D Corsair, OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, probably addition of F-14A into F-14 module.

Then there's Razbam, they may perhaps release F-15E or MiG-23 or Super Tucano or all of them or none at all :P

You can search for and follow Silver_Dragon's unofficial roadmap thread here to have a decent idea.

Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V

Dustin Browder left Blizzard some time ago, lead designer of Starcraft 2 and a bunch of Command & Conquer RTS games from Westwood.

Not sure if he's the right fit for ED tho, perhaps DCS needs a US development office in addition to, to my knowledge, mostly european ones, as I don't believe any potential US dev would willingly relocate to Moscow for a few years but I could be wrong.

So it's Moscow, Belarus, and Switzerland too these days rigth? I think I heard a while back that Belsimtek was just a demo how to be a 3rd party.

Still maybe worth a shot, just because those guys produce simple games doesn't mean they can't work on a bigger thing when the budget and ability/scope is provided to them.
