Introducing the VPC MongoosT-50

In their various versions of MMjoy2 firmware MegaMozg implement various of Njoy32 options, like shift buttons, "freeze" and "zoom out" in axes, including at some time mouse and keyboard emulation, but since ATMEGA32u4 has limited memory space end removing for add other features like support for LED output - usable only in War Thunder.

 

If T-50 use ARM32 based controller will have memory space for more options.

 

Seems the focus of "Russian boutique joystick makers" is avoid keyboard emulation soft (like TARGET's, Managers") in between joystick and games. :joystick:

To clarify the situation with VAT; the price shown on the website is indeed the total price inc VAT for Eurasian Economic Union countries (Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizistan). However once regional pricing and the VPC policy is taken into account (the products are cheaper for EEC customers) the EEC inc VAT price, and the Rest of World ex VAT price is pretty much identical. You are not paying the EEC VAT/paying VAT twice if you are a customer outside of the EEC.

Due to most every country handling this differently you must check with your own governing bodies help resources on the topic to help understand what your local taxes and customs charges will be, as these are not charged by, or paid to VPC.

When will open the shop in Moscow?

I did some more research on the German customs site for import to EU countries from Belarus. Since joysticks are not listed as such, I searched for "computer mouse" and found the duty code "8471 60" which applies for "computer input and output devices, incl. such devices as include memory". I would think that this covers joysticks and throttles for gaming.

For these devices the duty (Zoll) rate is 0%. So that's good news.

The import VAT for Germany is 19%.

Cyphr my CC company refused the transaction. There appears to be no way to go back in and pay for the Order I emailed the Customer service. You guys may want to put some way to pay for an invoice if the first attempts fails. This is fairly common problem with US CC compnies but normally u can make a quick call so the second attempt goes through.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with this policy. I'd like to point out that this policy is not unique to VPC, regional pricing (especially when the EEC is concerned) is standard practice. We have to offer a lower price to these areas to try to make our products even somewhat accessible, and as these customers account for a much smaller portion of our overall customer base, and they are also VPC's home user base, the actual logistics mean that it is cheaper for us to sell within the EEC vs the R.O.W, so we've deemed this policy acceptable.

Have tried to gather all necessary information from several sites, but I still do not have a "good" overall picture, unfortunately. I will think a bit more about it, but I will probably wait until Virpil can ship from inside the EU (which is not too far away timewise if I remember correctly). There goes that 15% preorder bonus... *sob* :D

There is no VAT in India for imports of small value... I guess I will order it soon and avail of my 20% discount and keep my fingers crossed to avoid customs... :)

This is common practice indeed, and all considered I think it's fair considering the difference in purchasing power.
