ok maybe that's why I can't get 2.0.5 to boot up. thanks, looks like an upgrade in near future. last dsc program I tried to run was 2010.

2.0 is only for the NTTR map, which you will have to have early access purchased. I'm not sure what happens if you download 2.0 and try to start it without the map, but even if you could get it started, you wouldn't be able to do anything with it without the map.

Come back when You upgrade Your PC to be compatible with DCS. Hopefully, by that time ED will have released the historic Normandy map, fitting the Spit and other warbirds much better than both current, modern maps.
