Need help inputing coordinates

Hey, just a quick question about entering coordinates. I'm still pretty new to this sim, so I'm probably missing something simple. I've also tried searching the forum but haven't been able to find the answere.

I've entered in L/L and UTM coordinates several times now and usually it isn't a problem, but simetimes it doesn't want to enter. I created a few mark points first on some tanks and then I tried to enter in some L/L coordinates and it wouldn't accept them. I didn't get an err or anything like that just when I pushed the LSK button nothing would happen. I aslo tried entering UTM and the same thing. I also tried switching the dial from strpt to mission and nothing. Any ideas why that might happen?

You can not input coordinates in the waypoint page of a "marker". When you're in the WAYPT page on the CDU, make sure it's not displaying informations of a "marker" which is a lettered waypoint : top left should display ±0 or ±1 and not ±A or ±B for example for what you want to do.

That's what I first think of, not sure if that helped ;)

Post a quick track of what you are doing and give us the coords as well. I or someone else could give you a better answer.

There are probably a million way to do something wrong.
