Persian Gulf Map

Can anyone please tell me if there are A10c missions in the Gulf map? Contemplating buying it but no point if no missions for me.

There are a few instant action missions. The 'usual' freeflight ones and a strike mission.

What's wrong with the user-made missions? most of the recent ones are for the PG Map:

Agreed! Download a fun mission, swap a unit in the mission editor to A-10 and make the unit a player, and you're flying.

It's not that I don't like the PG map, but I've flown a very limited number of Hog missions on it. It just feels more like a Hornet/Carrier map from the western point of view.

I expect most mission makers to put a focus in the new Syria map from now on. The map itself is absolutely beautiful, and A-10s have actually operated there in recent years, plus it'll feel much more at home in any fictional scenario, with all those hills and mountain ranges.

I've got a full campaign in the works as well, 4 sample missions are up on the user files section (see my signature).

Still new to DCS, downloaded Winter Bridgehead. Where do I put the two files that it contains please? The "lua" and "miz" files. I ask because I have taken the Winter Assault folder and put it in the campaigns folder in "Mods" and it doesn't show up when I start the game.

This is my system of course. Find your saved games, and put the folder with the 2 files in the Missions folder. The 2 files are inside Winter_Bridgehead on my system.
