Camera\eye position in Multiplayer

Why is it that about a third of the servers I join default to having my virtual eyepoint crammed as far forwards as possible ?

It takes ages to try and get it back to something approaching normal, involving re-centering my head tracker and using the numpad view keys. Even then it won't always yield a useable position.

 

I have searched to try and find an answer but with no luck at all.

PC specs:- Intel 386DX, 2mb memory, onboard graphics, 14" 640x480 monitor

Modules owned:- Bachem Natter, Cessna 150, Project Pluto, Sopwith Snipe

Its when they include their own server.lua and snapview.lua into the miz file.

I find that incredibly annoying too, and I flat out avoid those servers, once I have run into them.
