Oh man the thrills! It just looks so real it is incredible.. Als just made a flight with a mustang around hoover dam. OMG!! It was dawn, the lights looked amazing and the detail is so sick. You can see the cars driving up to and over the bridge, really truly amazing!! Thank you and congratulations ED! I too like some others have flown FSX and X-plane and always found those Vegas sceneries to be very cartoonish and the mesh was not very convincing at all. To see all the pools, golf course, street signs, all the small details...and a fluid 60 FPS (on my machine at least) is absolutely amazing. I thought I was in love with 1.5.1. This is beyond amazing. I cant wait to see how Caucus will look with the new 2.0 engine. Man this is just beautiful. The instant action missions wouldn't start for me at first, but a restart of DCS solved that and.....wow...just wow. It's even better than I imagined it would be. Flew around with the L39 over Vegas and was totally blown away by the visuals. Everything on High, Visibility on Ultra, only dropped CIV traffic to medium. Lowest frames Im getting is 40ish. Mostly smooth sailing capped at 60 FPS..... Im looking forward to spending some more time in Nevada :thumbup: Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals. I just dived the F-15 from 50k feet down to street level directly over Las Vegas. It felt completely natural and fluid, nothing was suddenly pooping up or looked strange in any way. There really are no words to describe my reaction to the desert scenery. This map was well worth the wait and well worth the download. 1.5 blew me away....but this is just truly awesome. I finally got 2.0 installed after 4 failed updates and trying torrents and regular downloads. Now NTTR can't seem to DL. I know there are a lot of folks bottlenecking the servers and I'm trying to be patient...but geez.
