IFF panel questions

Hi guys,

I have been flying a lot of the mirage lately, doing the excellent campaign missions. In the course of the campaign the IFF system is briefly mentioned. The kneeboard gives an IFF code for each mission.

Now next to the code dials are two selector knobs, left and right. I know you need to turn the right okkne one click to activate the code. But the knobs are not explained. Not in the manual, not in Chucks guide, nowhere.

So what ere these settings? What do they do?

Baltic said it himself some time ago : Nothing

IFF codes in DCS are not implemented, the only thing IFF does in DCS is check the coalition.

It's only for immersion purpose.
