There's a MiG-21Bis being made by Leatherneck simulations, an F/A-18E being made by Cortex designs and hopefully both should be out soon. (MiG-21 is said to be more complete than the F/A-18.)

Belsimtek (Creators of UH-1H and Mi-8MTV2) are currently developing DCS: F-86 Sabre and the AH-1G Cobra.

We haven't heard much about RAZBAM's planes and the Eurofighter still seems a long way away, but DCS: Hawk is to be released in ALPHA stage soon.

I have no idea on the ETA of EDGE/Nevada

If you love fighters... F-15 got AFM. Its freaking amazing. Most realistic feeling of piloting a fighter jet.

Yeah since you asked for A-10C level aircraft I didn't mention what we can look forward to in FC3... but as Witchking said there is AFM for the F-15C and soon to be for the Flanker. Can't wait for that, I'll just be pulling cobras all day instead of fighting :)

There isn't the tomcat on this road map, sadly that.I hope ED team could develop multi-crew for airplane soon!and that will be more interesting.

I delete them to the "Unofficial" RoadMap when IRIS section forum disappear to the DCS: W forums, and David, CEO of IRIS 3rd Party, put on your IRIS main forum news telling of all work on DCS: W was put on hold status on January of 2014

Meanwhile, I expected some new communicate from IRIS DCS: W 3rd Party to "rebirth" your section in the Roadmap, expected to good news

ok, thanks SithSpawn.

Yes, I re-read it, it looks like he is saying, you log on tonight to fly your aircraft online, but a message pops up saying you ran it so hard the night before that the plane is grounded for extended maintenance. Where is the fun there ;)

they may be laughing, but i think it would actually be a great idea

not just in WWII a/c but all airframes

i see ppl on youtube hitting the "over-G" warning - and staying there ---- and flying in afterburner the entire time - etc

i think having "consequences" for excessive handling would be realistic and could add veracity to the sim

of course, we would have to find the right way to implement it - maybe not a message saying you can't fly tonight, but certainly in a campaign context, only ten a/c available for missions instead of twelve in the squadron since you've been rough on them lately and they're down for maintenance/inspection........

Well I wouldnt mind seeing something during a session, if I did something stupid during a flight, returned to base, and they kick me out of that plane, and one aircraft was removed from the inventory at that airfield because I did enough damage to have that aircraft grounded. But I certainly wouldnt want to have to worry about general maintenance and not being able to play my sim for a couple days because they and to rebuild my engine lol.

yepyep, i agree

"some" kind of consequence - but not "you can't fly today" consequence
