Kamov52
After the update to 2.5.3.23788 Open Beta , what is it?:(
Hiromachi
Hello, can you specify conditions ? Did you just download patch ? Do you use any mods ? Was it with additional lights on or off ? Also, please be so kind to provide all logs. I've tried to replicate it, so I just downloaded open beta and on my side everything works correct as you can see in attachments. Edit, confirmed, whenever sun is not casting any light on gauges, they turn black. I've already informed Rudel, he is on it. Beta Sokol
Yeah, you need to fly some hevy maneuvres, then the scales appear. Another strange thing. Using no mods
Esac_mirmidon
I have this also, it seems related to the relative position of the cockpit with the sun and the shadows. Hiromachi
Yes, Rudel is checking gauges dds and rough met right now. If I'll know more I will post it. Hiromachi
Guys, Rudel and I tried it and seems we might have solved our issues. Just for the sake of being sure, can you also try the file in the attachment ? Unpack it and put it in following directory: DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\Textures\MiG-21_Cockpit You should have this file there already, so just replace it with downloaded attachement. Also, in the same directory please delete file named: MiG21Bis_CP_Gauges_RoughMet.bmp Report back results please.MiG21Bis_CP_Gauges_RoughMet.rar AMD Ryzen 5900X @ 4.95 Ghz / Asus Crosshair VII X470 / 32 GB DDR4 3600 Mhz Cl16 / Radeon 6800XT / Samsung 960 EVO M.2 SSD / Creative SoundBlaster AE-9 / HP Reverb G2 / VIRPIL T-50CM / Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder Pedals / Audio Technica ATH-MSR7

Hiromachi
Yes, too much playing with files. There should be Gauges and Gauges_RoughMet. Rudel changed bmp to dds, so unpack what I've uploaded and delete bmp one. cro_mig_21
I dont get good results with the downloaded file...I have put in the required folder and deleted the bmp file. In the sim it still does not show up quite right...I have default cockpit option in specials tab selected and all mods disabled. Could someone post a screenshot how it looks with the file? -Rudel-
Look for MiG21Bis_CP_Gauges.bmp and delete that one too. There should be a MiG21Bis_CP_Gauges.DDS in its place Edited November 7, 2018 by -Rudel- https://magnitude-3.com/ https://www.facebook.com/magnitude3llc https://www.youtube.com/@magnitude_3 i9 13900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 4090, Win10Pro, 2 x 2TB SSD i9 10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090Ti, Win10 Pro, 2 x 256GB SSD, 4 x 512GB SSD RAID 0, 6 x 4TB HDD RAID 6, 9361-8i RAID Controller i7 4960X, 64GB RAM, GTX Titan X Black, Win10 Pro, 512GB PCIe SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD
cro_mig_21
The first screenshot is how the folder looks after a fresh repair (I deleted the whole folder and ran repair)...you can see that there is already a MiG21Bis_CP_Gauges.dds and MiG21Bis_CP_Gauges_RoughMet.bmp file. The second screenshot is after I have deleted the bmp file and inserted the downloaded dds file. The results are as in the previous post

leonardo_c
The fix is Open Beta only? I had some issue recently with the gauges at night, could only see the needles. I'm not using Open Beta, I use the release version. My DCS Campaigns - DOWNLOAD
leonardo_c
This is what I have, already ran repair, tried also to delete the folder and the repair but nothing has worked so far, I cannot see any instrument at night, only flood light works. Esac_mirmidon
Same here, and is a different issue than the #9 post fix. That fix is not resolving the missing lights in the front cockpit. Hiromachi if you are so kind to take a look please. PD: Open beta lights working good.
