OK. I tested it and it does sound a bit... repetitive at some sounds probably that harmonization you were talking about.

Ok Updated first page 18.10.2014.

I did a small rollback for the internal engine sounds to the very old ones i did use before the 2.0 version with small adjustments.

Minimum adjustments to the Rotor sound> loopchanges / High frequency cutoff.

I hope you guys (and maybe girls) are Happy with it.

Not sure if this is gonna be indicative.

Please note that there are also background noise coming from my microphone.

I am really not very sure on this... Might be my imagination; but it really sounded different from before and after the patch....

I'm guessing a good point to compare is when I set the throttles to Auto; just as the RPM goes up.

Damn bro, the sound of the gun is awesome, I am using this as soon as I upgrade my PC, these sounds kill my little machine at the moment, I will be halfway through the flight and then the engine noise only kicks in.

But that ends this week, new PC parts en route :thumbup:

Cool ! Thanks and awesome work...

Nice seeing you on pub server. Man, you're deadly with the Shark aren't you ? :D

Me and the Shark are in a happy realationship for now about ....5 years.:music_whistling:

I dont know why but sometimes i think ED did come up with the best module for me at very first.:D

BTT

Iam currently thinking of modding the intern missile and rocket release sounds they sound OK, but from my personal experience that ttsschhiiinngg is not really there.

But im not sure how the new modded sounds will effect other modules.

Status: = Testing

Its not DCS that does it, it happens with most games I have for some reason, I have had sound issues ever since I bought this notebook a few years ago. Its not very powerful, and I run DCS on 4gb of ram, lol. I can only fly around, I cannot go into target areas where there is is smoke and explosions and tanks moving around, the machine lags so badly I end up in the ground sometimes. So i have just been practicing landing and taking off and navigating and bombing one tank per mission.

OK the Missile release sounds....

Bad news:music_whistling:

In DCSWorld\Sounds\Effects\Weapons

are 3 Soundfiles named:

-MissileLaunchHIn_1

-MissileLaunchHIn_2

-MissileLaunchHIn_3

all 3 are .wav files and sounds all the same. I think the H stands for Helicopter just as a sidenote.

i decided to redo the first one to find out which Missile or rocket it will effect.

Ingame i noticed that the file is sometimes played, but most the time the stock sound is played.

So i did have a look into the DCSworld\sounds\sdef\Weapons\MissileLaunchHIn.sdef and it looked like this.

wave = {

"Effects/Weapons/MissileLaunchHIn_1.wav",

"Effects/Weapons/MissileLaunchHIn_2.wav",

"Effects/Weapons/MissileLaunchHIn_3.wav",

}

inner_radius = 10

outer_radius = 100

gain = 0.7

pitch_random = 0.08

And that means that all three sounds are choosen by random to play.:mad:

Iam really wondering about the fact that all 3 sound exactly the same,

they are just taking diskspace and my modding has to end here.:doh:

I hope the sound engine will not look like this in DCSWorld 2.0 ....... if yes the sound in this Simulation will become very arcadelike, because sometimes the missiles sound like rockets and reversed(if in later versions the sounds will sound different from each other).

ISE :cry:
