[REPORTED]AIM-9 available at airport when disabled in ME

Recommended Posts

The AIM-9L, AIM-9M, AIM-9X, and CAP-9M are available at airports for the F/A-18C on pylons 2 and 8 even when inventory is set to 0 for all AA missiles in the mission editor.

Repro steps:

In the mission editor, disable Unlimited Munitions for an airport and set AA missiles initial value to 0 for all rows using Clear col. Do this for all other categories as well (AG missiles, AG rockets, etc.).

Ensure there is at least one F/A-18C spawn at this airport.

Save the mission.

Load the mission as a new multiplayer server and use the F/A-18C spawn.

On the refuel and rearm menu, observe that the following AIR-TO-AIR missiles are available for pylons 2 and 8:

LAU-115C LAU-127 AIM-9L Sidewinder IR AAM

LAU-115C LAU-127 AIM-9M Sidewinder IR AAM

LAU-115C LAU-127 AIM-9X Sidewinder IR AAM

LAU-115C LAU-127 AIM-9X CAP-9M

Notes:

The mission editor refers to these armaments under a different name:

AIM-9L

AIM-9M Sidewinder IR AAM

AIM-9X Sidewinder IR AAM

CAP-9M

Additionally, if those missiles are selected as available in the mission editor, the F/A-18C is capable of loading AIM-9 munitions on other pylons beyond 2 and 8.

This bug may have come into existence with DCS World 2.5.3.21144 following a crash bug described in this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=218255
