In DCS settings: The resolution corresponds to the size of both monitors?

=> 3286x1080?

 

 

 

 

Nope in dcs I have still 1920*1080, but if I set the resolution to 3286x1080, the main screen extends and I cant see the right half, even if the center point starts ar x0 y0

I know this has previously been discussed here before but I've tried the suggestions earlier in the thread but I can't get the Left & Right MFCD to be clear and readable in the exports (please see pics).

 

Has anyone resolved this issue with the new update? BTW, I am using the Cpt Zeen profile files downloaded as of today July 29th. Thanks in advance, Derek

The x-resolution has(!) to be the sum of both monitors.

Just to get sure: Fullscreen is off?

Check the following points....

 

 

  1. Correctly setup monitors in windows preferably side by side with the primary on the left.
  2. DCS options should be Fullscreen unchecked (due to different resolutions)
  3. Ensure you have selected the correct monitor config in DCS options
  4. Monitor res in DCS options must be 3286x1080 <- this is why you aren't seeing the exports

Ensure that your export.lua and helios folder are correctly installed....I see that you have from a previous reply.

 

For example, my configuration...

 

I have 2 monitors - Prim is 2560 x 1440 and secondary 1920 x 1080. Setup side by side in Windows 10

 

My resolution in DCS is 4480 x 1440

 

Fullscreen unchecked

 

My monitor config...

But unreadable thik lines.

when i changed trues and falses to eachother it dont help.

Degrading the quality of the in-game displays to fix the exported displays is not an adequate solution.

 

The more people keep saying that this is a solution, the further down the list this bug gets and the longer it'll take ED to address this issue.

Hmmmm, I use it and it's fine on my ingame as well as exported displays!

I have one observation/question. The Hook ByPass switch (Field/Carrier) is a momentary one - I have replaced it with an On/On switch. I understand the advantage of a momentary switch for the Launch Bar switch, but I am left wondering if the Bypass switch was an error. Forgive my temerity in asking.

Well, probably was a mistake, but easy to fix.

Now i am flying with the Hornet, so i can revise everything.

Please check the radar altimeter on the right vertical panel. It does not seem to move when I twist the round dial.

It looks like the update broke some of this helios profile. The rwr no longer turns on for me in helios. I also noticed the radar switch on the right console isn't functioning.

The problems with the control for the rwr radar etc, were fixed the following day of the patch. Just download again the export files and replace yours.

 

 

OK, here you got the Fix for the OpenBeta.

 

ED changed the order of the devices from the number 38, so from that device number till the 56, all the buttons points to a wrong device numbers on the export.lua.

 

I fixed the problem in this new package.

You only really need to change the new export files from the package. No changes on the profile itself.
