ericoh
Hello, i've been trying to change the color of the rotors, however when they start rotating they change back to default. Now i found out that it is the "uh_1_blade.tga" responsible for that. is there any way to call the uh_1_blade.tga via the description.lua so we can make different kinds of painted rotorblades? Thanks in advance. Greetings.
upuaut
Hello, try to add {"uh1_rotor_alfa", 0, "your modified blade file",false}; to the description.lua. 1 DCS Mods and Skins: HiDrive Use the NAS only if the other Link is not working - it's slow! ericoh
Hey, for sure. Go to: ...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Textures\uh-1.zip in there you find "uh_1_blade.tga.dds" open it with a program like DXTbmp (Click), choose "safe as" .tga. Open the file in photoshop or simillar, change it however you want it, you will notice it has a alpha channel. Safe it as .tga 32-bit. Put the file into your selfmade liveries folder. Open your description.lua and add the line that upuaut gave us: {"uh1_rotor_alfa", 0, "your modified blade file",false}; replace "your modified blade file" with the name of your .tga (Obviously DUH!). Start the game and watch how your rotorblades shine :D If you got anymore questions or this wasnt understandable, just reply to this and i can give further assistance. Greetings.
