Dang $49 for a single aircraft seems a little too high.

I was going to get this to have a little fun but that price to too high for me based on what I've seen so far.

You have to consider the amount of effort, dedication, hours of work and research that went into making this aircraft. It really is impressive and we should be thankful that people are willing to do it. $50 is well justified, especially when you consider people pay £50 (not dollars) for Call of Duty on release every year and it has been essentially the same game for the last 5 years.

Everyone will have to weigh the cost vs fun ratio, for me, I think Helicopter piloting is some form of witchcraft :) ... that said... I would be lying if I said I wasn't going to buy it. I have a DCS problem, but no support group to help me through it :)

Looking forward to flying a multi-crew craft, assuming multi-seat support works out of the box. It'll be time for Shortbus One to cause havok once again.

Well, if you are going away for the weekend, it's quite possible you'll miss it. :) Of course you never know, there could be more last minute delays, it happens all the time.

Aww hell, the missus is going to kill me; anybody got a list of excuses for staying in, assuming it doesn't rain?

1. Feign injury; nah, tried that when A10 was released

2. Working? nah, warthog throttle and stick a dead giveaway.

3. accept the huffing and puffing? too painful

looks like the more expensive option of sending her out for some retail therapy is in order.

Mate, you've got to dig deep. Here's my guaranteed solution - Clean the house, wash the dishes, do the laundry, tidy up your $hit in the man cave, take the dog for a walk, wash her car, wash your car, clean the backyard... at the end of all that. Collapse on the sofa and say "Ok, jobs done. Now it's me time!"

With such reasonment, we will get AH-1 Cobra priced at $349 and F/A-18 at $1299. :) -49$ for an electronics-free utility helicopter .... that's high Still, i will gladly pay for it. :P

Luckily mine gave me an out this last weekend by dumping a whole bag of half cooked spagetti down the drain which caused me to spend most of the night and next morning unclogging the drain and cleaning the mess... so I have clearence for pretty much anything this weekend ;)
