Guys, I just caught a glimpse of it last night, and finished watching it just now. The beauty of the cinema photography is now forever mesmerized in my mind. It is a documentary of the Supermarine Spitfire and her pivotal role with the RAF in the Battle of Britain. It featured several RAF pilots whom were still alive during the making of the film. It was very well made.

I respect history, but this one, specifically, as each RAF veteran spoke of their experiences, and the joy of a 100 year old ferry pilot who met once again the very Spitfire she flew (and signed) as an AFA (Air Transport Auxillary) during WWII. All this had me teared.

Mary is no longer with us. She passed away in 2018 July at the age of 101. Shortly after the release of the film.

Uh, "not available" the link says, without details.

Not a fan of youtube restrictions policy of what can be seen in which countries, unless it was deleted because we're talking about commercial product after all.

It is a commercial product and its 'Youtube movies', so you have to buy or rent it, to watch it. And I guess its regional, cause it doesnt show up here. Well or maybe its a free view in given regions?

It is this one:

- Jack of many DCS modules, master of none.

- Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS.

IIRC, John Dibbs (one of the finest aviation photographers in the world) did most of the modern air to air imagery.

John Dibb's Book "Flying Legends" is a must have for WWII airplane enthusiasts. :pilotfly:
