P-51 map question

This may sound like a dumb question, but I'm having a hard time getting started in any type of mission. I downloaded the beta and whenever I start any type of mission such as a quick play etc. it always starts me out on the map view. I want to get into the cockpit view but I'm not sure how to do it. Can you help me? I've played the A-10 game regularly, and usually when I want to get out of the map I just press the M key.

It sounds like you haven't activated the P-51 module with the activation key provided with your purchase, so it's not letting you enter the cockpit.

Activate? Do you mean the serial number? If so, why would it even let me start a mission since I haven't activated it? I'll try it though.

outaluck1,Look at the files you downloaded,1 is The DCS World which you already installed,1 is The P-51 exec. which will install P-51 into DCS World.

Yes I installed both exe's.
