Boomer
anyone notice that i take a ride also with the SU25-T and the ground explosions is excellent.. I can definitely see the improvement, but found it odd that no one wrote about it. It looks way more realistic IMO. Wishlist: DCS: MiG29M/CMT | DCS: MiG25/31 | DCS: MiG-23MLD | DCS: F16CJ

hitman
I think the cbu munition smoke disappears way too quickly. Im rendering a video right now demonstrating a few things. Few words of wisdom beforehand, its gonna SUCK and its LONG. But at least theres a happy ending.
aaron886
Well no doubt it can always be better, but the point of this thread of course is that they are much improved from the old explosions that dated back to Flanker! BZ for the initiative, in my book.

I'd have to disagree completely :) Flanker 2 used bitmap/sprites for explosions. http://www.flightsim.com/review/flank2/flanker2_4.jpg Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

ALDEGA
Flanker 2 used bitmap/sprites for explosions. They're textured quads ... DCS uses more of the same (literally).
