Damage sound mod help

I made a little mod that increases the damage sound to your aircraft but since 2.5.6 I con't install it. Where should it go now?

I've uploaded the file I had in my OVGME folder.

You need to either manually or OVGME install it into saved games folder.

But how?

If I add it as it is it doesn't work. What would be the structure for this?

Try placing it in the root of your saved games folder as is:

Example:

C:\Users\(YourAccount)\Saved Games\DCS

The folder structure would be:

C:\Users\(YourAccount)\Saved Games\DCS\Sounds\sdef\Damage

If it STILL doesn't work that means that it also requires the damage sound effect files.

In that case, here's a new copy of your mod that also includes the sound files. It's too large to upload into the forum but I put it on a public Dropbox for now. I'll leave it up for a few days.

It will use the exact same structure as above but using Sounds\Effects\Damage for the sound files. There are more sound files than SDEF files because some SDEF reference multiple sound effect files for randomization.

Did you get it working? I haven't had a chance to try it since
