phant Posted July 1, 2022 Share Posted July 1, 2022 (edited) JF-17 Thunder Development Progress Third party developer, Deka Ironworks Simulations, has provided their roadmap for DCS: JF-17 Thunder. It is with great pleasure that we may share it with you. The module is scheduled to exit Early Access by December 2022. By the end of the year, the following items will also be completed: Chinese flight manual update English flight manual update after finishing the Chinese version Improve existing sensors and fix certain bugs (radar, pod, etc) Improve existing weapons and fix certain bugs Weapon features will be updated as soon as possible with missing sensor features and functionality such as the WA radar mode which will be added once they are available in DCS. After Early Access, the module will continue to receive updates. Notably, external textures will be finalised and more liveries will be added. A canopy ejection animation and a detailed model of the landing gear compartment will be added. The Damage model and Levels of Detail (LOD) will continue to be updated. phant Posted January 20, 2023 Share Posted January 20, 2023 Deka IronWork Development Report The development of the DCS: JF-17 Thunder is nearing completion. The Chinese flight manual will receive some updates soon, and the translation of the English manual is still in progress. In the meantime, completed cockpit textures will be avaialble in the next update. Pylon and adapters textures in the exterior model have also been updated. We plan to finish the exterior model including more skins and livery template and release them together with pylon texture by March 2023.
