French Mirage 2000D missing in Alps

This is a sad news indeed. Both pilot and (woman) WSO have been confirmed dead by French Air Force and French MOD. :cry:

 

[# Inmemoriam] the chief of staff of the air force, air force general Philippe Lavigne, and all airmen are sad to announce the death of the 2000 D Mirage Crew, wanted since yesterday In the jura. He expresses his very strong emotion and deepest condolences to the families and relatives of Captain Baptiste Chirié and Lieutenant Audrey Michelon, who died in ordered air service.

Patented Fighter Pilot, Captain Baptiste Chirié held the qualification of operational combat pilot. He had 24 war missions and 940 flight hours.

As A Patented Navigator Officer, Lieutenant Audrey Michelon held the qualification of sub-Chief Navigator. She had 97 war missions and 1250 flight hours.

Like The Minister, the chief of staff of the air force will return tomorrow on Nancy-Ochey Air Base 133 to be alongside families, Air Force Airmen and to show them all Solidarity of the air force.
