Because I have something similar done via Joystick gremlin, when it hits about 75% it sends a virtual keypress (a vJoy) button that is mapped to the F18 (or F16) AB detent control, so the throttle stops at 75% in game, even if I physically slam it to the top. To "unhook" it I have to slightly pull back the throttle (bringing it physically and logically back behind 75%) then it sends a keypress to the virtual (vJoy) button and that releases the detent. Define range and modifier in the VPC software, and then you just press a button when at full deflection and off you go into afterburner. Watch HC_Official's superb set of videos including a couple on the afterburner detents and setting the throttle up for idle/off. I don't know if this will fit earlier versions of this throttle. The shafts may have changed size, and the grips probably have. I'll look into that in future. Hello! Has anyone tried these with the first version of the throttle? I don’t remember reading that they changed the measurements of the throttle handles between v1 and v2...
