Hi. So to be clear - if I already have the dce campaign engine insstalled and tf 74 and tf68 works.. it will work?

Unfortunately, I don't have the jf17. I wouldn't be able to properly convert any of the existing campaigns to a jf17 campaign.

Worse it seems ALL my campIgns are broken! And i disnt modify anything! I just tried installing Iran Irak

As of now I get path. Ot found even copying the paths that work for other campaigngs.

Not plane etc but i get path not found errors. Doing the same things as always. Oddly ir seems 2 campaigns work with miguels downloadavle.workarnd.

Ine question - the us navy deck equipment mod - is it necessary for your camoaign and if i dont have it is that the problem?

I have SC l(not that it matters) i joined the dark side :( and its not worth 40 bucks IMO

U firget my exact reasoning but if youre really curious Ill reinstall it and tell you why it doesnt work for some reason.

Hi Sublime. The good news is I was able to recreate the error on my end. The bad news, it only comes up when the path to luae.exe is incorrect.

Would you be able to check the path to the luae.exe file? Like literally look for it in the dcs folder and when you find it, look at the adress bar and see if thats the path in the bat file.

I have a sneaking suspicion that DCS World is actually DCSWorld or something else.

If you would want, you can take a photo of the folder that has the luae.exe file (please make sure to include the address bar). And I'll type up what you can copy and paste into the bat file.

You may have the exact same problem with sublime. Where in the bat file could find the luae.exe file.

Is there no "ghetto" way i can edit a lua file and put jf17 instead of su27 or mig29 for a campaign?

Hi Sublime, I don't think you would need the USN deck equipment.

You got close. The good news is that you got the path to the luae.exe file correct. Based on the screenshot. I noticed the folder where the campaign is, is name Iran-Irak war. That wouldn't work because the camp_init.lua will be looking for the Itan-Irak War-Tomcat.

Actually here is the exact path in the camp_inti.lua:

Saved Games/DCS/Mods/tech/DCE/Missions/Campaigns/Iran-Iraq war-Tomcat/

Actually we may need CEF's help. The Iran-Irak War-Mod for JSGME was made for the former Stable. With the new Stable, the mod is preventing DCS from starting up.

Lets try this. The important stuff first. Make sure you save that Firstmission.bat file because that has the correct path to luae.exe.

Go into the iran-irak war-tomcat zip file you downloaded. Go into 'tech", then into 'DCE', then into 'Missions', then finally into 'Campaigns'. You should see 1 folder and 3 files in there. I've attached a screenshot for reference. Copy those 3 files and 1 folder into:

C:\Users\<your username>\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech\DCE\Missions\Campaigns

Then place the working Firstmission.bat file into the Iran-Irak War-Tomcat folder, replacing the one that's already in there.

On a seperate topic, I can replace the plane in one of the campaigns for your. But since I don't own the JF17, I wouldn't be able to set the loadout, needless to say test if it works properly. So every mission would require you to set the loadouts for you, your wingmen and every other JF17 that would be flying (including AI flights) based on the Targets they would be attacking. On top of that, you might end up being assigned a mission that you wouldn't have enough fuel for.

Thinknthis is kostly jf17 but i thinknits affected my babt (f14)

I use a hdmi to attach my laptokmto a bignflatscreen.

Lately .. i have to reclicknmy screen sveeveral times as some non program (literally nothong incan id) causes the game to not minimize but stop being "highlit" so my cmds do nothing. It can get me killed and is immersion breaking

Little test.

Ran iran irak in the user campaigns.

Mission 1 came and loaded. I quit to see .. if it worked. Of course.. this error popped

One of all my dce camos and one of the iran irak folder.

As far as I can see its all installed EXACTLY as it should??

I have trigger start set of false but still having issue with AI not attacking target. The SEADs do but the strike group with jdam do not. They did attack initially on first mission.
