Weird screen tear glitch

When I was taxiing at Batumi, I opened the canopy and when I looked down, there was this fixed line which seemed to show the grass underneath the airport textures. I've only noticed this in the Sabre, although I've only tried in the Sabre as well. See the attached images.

it's a GFX Tearing issue, you'll get it with every plane,

I've seen it on the ground and on my own aircraft's shadows at random.

Might have something to do with VSYNC.

I have the feeling that this is just the concrete texture beeing to close to the ground texture. Therfore the ground texture is clipping through at certain angles.

So you say its a design fault in the map? Oh, my, I didn't think there was any :P

My theory is that it's the transition line between two rendering passes - one configured for close-range objects(cockpit), and the other for rendering more distant objects.

It's got nothing to do with Vsync, and it's not due to z-fighting (concrete being too close to ground) either. I believe this won't occur in EDGE since it's a new rendering engine entirely.
