BlacleyCole
9reead the chart most tell you altitude for certain visual or electronic points it then directs you from point to point then there’s a altitude chart/graphicvor/ils charts are arrival charts names are usually departures. Also look at ffs docs for more info BlackeyCole 20years usaf XP-11. Biga42
My point is: how do I get here and at which altitude? Thanks!
Gary
Bit of a punt on my part but seems patern altitude is 1500ft and the max APP / DEP is listed as 2000ft - so at or below 2000ft but not lower than 15000ft? Confirmation or education if I'm wrong would be most welcome? Regards, Gary I5 - 1TB SSHD, 256 SSD - Nvidia 1070 - 16gb ram - CV1
DutchJackal
This is where an Air Traffic Controller comes in. But those are a bitting lacking in DCS...
dolfo
Answer is in the header of the chart. It says Visual operation Chart. So you look around and find your way.

Rudel_chw
..where do I can find a tutorial on how to follow the proper way to land on airfields using the airfield chart? I havent seen clear, DCS oriented, tutorials on this subject ... except for this one in spanish language ... its really good, I learned a lot from it, and you can activate subtitles with automatic translation to english ... not perfect, in particular translating abreviations, but clear enough: mriMxyR1u68 here is another one, but using visual flight rules: yozNDQnaGgE The author does speak english, perhaps you can suggest to him to create an alternate english soundtrack for these videos :) Best regards, Edited July 16, 2018 by Rudel_chw For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600X - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia GTX1070ti - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar - Oculus Rift CV1 Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
BlacleyCole
Sound like a tutorial is needed. Usually either the chart you’re looking at or the base diagram will list approach altitudes. I recommend getting the charts above those are the ones I use in dcs iirc the pg map ones are do out today BlackeyCole 20years usaf XP-11.
