so I took matt's mission, made the way in slightly shorter because I was in a hurry, and set visibility parameters that makes it a bit more challenging ! (262ft of forward visibility (clouds + fog) and rain.. you will see the carrier or the sea only a few seconds before touchdown)

Enjoy !

First post to the forums. I saw Wags' CASE III video and couldn't resist coming here and tossing this up. I posted this to YouTube back on July 2nd. Its a pure CASE III that I set up on the Persian Gulf. I made the video to try and explain what I meant to fellow pilots about the 'controlled crash' that are carrier landings. The original video was about 11.5 minutes and I narrowed this down. I turn Base and Final about 4:30. Warning: I do not have Track IR.

Had to use AI Hornets loaded with Harms to suppress those pesky S300's (multiple complex batteries). Then the "Bone" moved in...

After the stress of armchair battle it was time to be Maverick (part 2 :))

After trimming some trees... a sh*t hot break over a Georgian airfield... the controllers over there don't give a sh*t about SHB.

One thing that really impresses me so far in DCS flying (in VR) is smoothness and no crashes, SP or MP. The visibility setting in this clip is set to extreme.
