Aginor Posted August 3, 2015 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Well, let's say it WAS possible back when all the jets had SFM. At the moment carrier ops are scripted, which is why only the SU-33 can do it. Everything with an AFM can't even properly stand still on on aircraft carrier (or any other moving ship) at the moment. As long as that isn't possible a tailhook doesn't make much sense.
