Yup, finally someone with an Actual Block 50 livery … which is what we will get, an USAF Block 50.

I see Block 30"s liveries … block 52, block 30, and MLU … no block 50 so apart this one here above and the one from mvsgas

Since dimensionally there is very little difference between different blocks ( yes I know there are some but not critical to our objectives) I think any and all schemes should be welcomed.

Personally I want to see a boat load of Nellis liveries,

To hell with liveries, let's hope ED goes to town on the actual simulation.

I'd prefer it if they released the F-16 fully functional with all ordnance, targeting pod, radar, and avionics features fully implemented and just a generic purple skin with pink polkadots, rather than releasing it with a ton of high-detail liveries (most of which look the same anyway, just a few numbers or a little patch or colored stripe being the only difference) and have to wait literally *years* while they get everything working (F/A-18C anyone?)

Simulation=Point

Liveries=Window dressing

A full, complete module with only one livery is fine for me. Doubt I'll be buying the F-16 when it's released despite it being a great-flying aircraft, since they haven't even finished the F/A-18 yet. Not trying to be a buzzkill here, I'd just rather they not repeat what happened with the F/A-18C.

Finish the module completely. THEN announce it on the forum, or wherever you like. Release it as a Beta, and when it's been tested for a while by the community and had any bugs ironed out, consider it a full release, and add window dressing--skins, more texture detail here and there if you wish, maybe a couple new weapon types etc. etc.

But, don't drag it on and on for ages like the Hornet.

The amount of liveries has no impact on aircraft development time. The folks that do the art aren't the ones doing the system programming, etc.

But, don't drag it on and on for ages like the Hornet.

Several things to consider...

First the hornet is fully functional for the features is currently has...

No,,,it is not "complete" yet. But a friend and I spent more than 3 hours flying last night doing air to air and air to ground and neither of us cared we don't have ground radar yet. Neither of us cared the module is " incomplete" because it really didn't have any effect on our game.

Second I believe the way ED has released the Hornet incrementally has made it far easier to master than getting a " complete" package on day one. I sincerely hope they do the same thing with the Viper.

Finally...if we waited for everything to be polished and finished before releasing...ED wouldn't be in business. They're not Microsoft or Apple. They can't absorb years and years or R&D and testing internally without starting to see some return on their investment.

Wasn't here for the A-10C I see. It will be a long process, nothing new there.
