eyewave
Hi all, I've played it with 1.5 (thanks to BBQ https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114267) and this awesome campaign cannot fall into oblivion, so I decided to update it for 2.5, I'm sure the upcoming Black Shark 3 will make it well worth the effort and time. However I'm not sure if I have to ask for permission to the original developpers and how contact them, any help? Thanks Edited October 24, 2019 by eyewave
Wizard1393
I've heard a lot about this old campaign. Never played it. Really looking forward to your remake eyewave! metzger
I didn't like it because it is very heavily scripted, it is way too easy to miss a trigger and waste your time figure out why nothing happens. There are small trigger zones everywhere, even at moments where it is not really needed, and they are small...and you might fly for another half an hour before realize you missed something somewhere.. Some scenarios were also very arcadish rambo style. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
eyewave
Thanks chrisofsweden I hope you will enjoy the result. Metzger, I'm considering add triggers so if you miss others "less important" will cost you some score points but not restart the mission because nothing happens. If I do that I'd name them _NotOriginal so they can be identified in the mission editor..
DerFangzahn
However I'm not sure if I have to ask for permission to the original developers and how contact them, any help? Thanks If your only task is to update it to 2.5 and bring it to a playable state I dont see any reason that you need permission for a free campaign. As long as you redistribute it in the ED user files and mention the original developer you are good to go. Btw. If these guys are not around anymore. Who should ask... Good luck and thanks! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
