Default [REPORTED]Impossible to see through the SU 25T HUD

The SU25T HUD seems to be very prone to Sun reflection, which makes it very difficult to see through.
Is this problem recent? I haven't noticed it before.
Are there ways to fix it?

The HUD and gunsight on the 25T and 25A are pretty hard to see through in real life when the light hits them right. Biggest issue is it's not a true reflection and is just an ugly static texture baked in. Regardless, that will get rid of it

Thanks so much Zhukov!

Have ED made it like this for realism? Just tried landing this evening and I could hardly see the runway through it due to the glare.

No. The 25T is the oldest flyable aircraft available, thus the low poly count and dated textures. When ED updated to the new rendering engine with 2.5 it broke lots of old, non-PBR textures... like both Su-25s cockpits and exteriors, and a slew of other aircraft, too. They have been going through 1 by 1 and updating them to the new rendering engine, but it takes time.

They haven't been updated in ages, they worked fine in 1.5, the render engine change broke them. The exteriors have weird reflectivity, too.

zhukov032186 gave the link the SU-25T but not SU-25A. For those who want to a more clearer round hud glass of 25A, may try this mod, which not only kill the mipmaps, I tried it.

You have to plan your attack from an angle where you get minimum reflection. Thats called reality.
