KSilva
Hey all, Just wanted to drop a line in case anyone was interested in joining a group of DCS aviators who are focused on flying and learning, but most of all, having fun in the process. We're modeled after CVW-8 and currently are flying with two Hornet Squadrons, using the F/A-18C Mod We plan on converting over to the full DCS Hornet module upon release as well as the DCS Tomcat module when it becomes available. I would say we fall into the realm of mil-sim/mil-sim light. We appreciate naval aviation and do our best to learn tactics and procedures and replicate them as closely as possible. Please feel free to stop by our Facebook page, our web page or TeamSpeak Server (server info on our web page) and see if you're interested. Thanks! http://www.cvw-8.org/ https://www.facebook.com/CVW8DCS/?hc_ref=ARRk6LeR1WEpRy1YICHPdlEkBEqgTdShfs-S7ElOP4y8kiNg0gxUa3q7QAD9rdOLwFA&fref=gs&hc_location=group
KSilva
Once the Applicants applications have been accepted, they will be assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 106 "Gladiators" (Fleet Replacement Squadron). When they are with VFA-106, New Pilots will have to complete 0000, and 1000 Phase Training before being assigned to a Fleet Strike Fighter Squadron in CVW-8 (VFA-15 and VFA-87).
