Sudden Game Crash; DCS 2.5.4.25729

The game will crash very suddenly. When I use the restart mission key shortcut, DCS will just disappear just when it's about to restart the mission, when the loading bar is at the end. it doesn't do this every time, but still often. Here's the mission I set up: Note that this same kind of crash has been happening to me at other times as well, after the update.

I had all my standard mods disabled (sounds and textures only). The only thing I have attached to DCS is SimpleRadioStandalone. The log mentions Tacview, but I'm not sure why, because I removed it just to see if I'd still get this crash. Sketchy.

Here is the dcs.log text file that was generated/updated after the sudden crash. Here's the log, it's rather lengthy: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hehinryzpow5unf/dcs.log?dl=0

If anyone is going to look at this, and you open the log, copy it for yourself, because being dropbox, I won't keep it there forever. Acknowledgement to this thread would be much appreciated, too.

I had several intermittent DCS crashes and the odd BSOD's in 2.5.3.x and initially a crash in 2.5.4 so far after updating my nvidia drivers to 417 I haven't more crashes.

Seeing other users on this forum also having "random" crashes although usually caused by a GPF (access violation) but the crash logs were pointing to various different dll's i.e. no consistency.

Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.

Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above.

Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.

I’ve had a game crash in 2.5.4 when my Huey clipped a fence in Nevada and the Huey crashed.

Have also tried to fly the second F-18 campaign mission, but both times the game crashed. The first time it crashed after 15 minutes, the second time after 3 minutes.

I’m flying in VR, and all three times I got the message DCS has crashed, and it allowed me to collect and send the dump files automatically.
