Cthulhus
I found some clue for you guys. It's not a texture bug but a Light bug ! If you adjust the light brightening, that will increase the green "texture" effect as you can see on this video : When the plane is cold and dark, no issue. Only while startup and when you adjust brightness. Please fix that issue, I can't use that bird with that ugly bug :( Thanks!! Could you please take a screenshot from the rotary in cockpit which you are adjusting to see this bug or a screenshot from your controls setup(name of light and key) showing which light you adjust? I just tested all lights i could find in the cockpit but i don't get that bug, that would be much more helpfull for others to check and reproduce you problem(or not) Modules: KA-50, A-10C, FC3, UH-1H, MI-8MTV2, CA, MIG-21bis, FW-190D9, Bf-109K4, F-86F, MIG-15bis, M-2000C, SA342 Gazelle, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A-18C, F-14, C-101, FW-190A8, F-16C, F-5E, JF-17, SC, Mi-24P Hind, AH-64D Apache, Mirage F1, F-4E Phantom II System: Win 11 Pro 64bit, Ryzen 3800X, 32gb RAM DDR4-3200, PowerColor Radeon RX 6900XT Red Devil ,1 x Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe, 2 x Samsung SSD 2TB + 1TB SATA, MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals - VIRPIL T-50CM and VIRPIL MongoosT-50 Throttle - HP Reverg G2, using only the latest Open Beta, DCS settings
Cthulhus
Sure, and here a video, I film the two rotary with the bug in action. I "bend" those switch to my X56 Throttle (RTY3 - RTY4). I have this bug even is I use the X56 Throttle or my using them on the virtual cockpit as you can see on the video. Do you want me to check what's happen if I assign them from my X56?). If you want me to give you more details, don't hesitate to ask me. I think I have this bug since we can see the cockpit lightning from outside. It was 1 month ago, maybe more. I tried a full uninstall (module + game) and it's the same. I'm not alone with that issue as you can see on the first page. unknown
I'm sorry for the little shaky mobile video but i recently upgraded from an AMD GPU to nvidia and there is no free capture software in the driver included(except you want to install that GFE stuff). That is very strange. I assigned both axis commands you marked to two of my axis of my Virpil T-50 throttle and tried the exact same as you did in your video and i can not reproduce this! If i use the in game rotarys or the assigned ones from my HOTAS, in both cases everything works absolutly fine. You mentioned you are using VR, i heard a lot of users with VR use some shader mod to improve the performance, do you use this or any other mod? I don't use any mods (and no VR) and as you can see i have no problems. Did you try to delete the following two folders? Cthulhus
Hello, thanks for your tests. I did all video captures without VR connected. And when VR is connected, I have the same bug. I have this since the lightning upgrade on the model (you can see the cockpit light from outside) for me it's not a coincidence. My GPU is a RTX2080ti, does it's my GPU ? I don't have other cards for tests. Some people have the same issue, maybe we can ask them what is their config ? I have this bug only with the F/A18C. All is fine with other modules. Maybe I need to clear some temp files ? If you can tell me where their are, I can make some tests. Thanks for all Cheer Cthulhus Specs: Win10 64bits Pro, Intel i9-9900K | 32Go | RTX 2080 Ti | M.2 SSD 850go x2 Hardware: HTC Vive Pro + X56 Maps : Normandy + Assets | Gulf | Nevada DCS Modules: FC3 | UH-1H | Mi-8MTV2 | A-10C | F/A-18C | Ka-50 | SuperCarrier | F-14A/B | F-5E | F-86F Sabre | MiG-15bis | Mig-19 | MiG-21bis | AV-8B | Fw 190 D-9 | SA342 | P-51D | Bf 109 K-4 | Spitfire LF Mk. Cthulhus
As far as I know, yes. All mods disabled. And F/A-18C has been fully removed and reinstalled. Reinstalling for a third time : (I manually removed all remained files). I don't know if it's normal. and now installing again. Hope that help.
