Microsoft Surface for MFD Touch Screen Usage??

Recommended Posts

Hi Fellow Pilots,

I have the main i7 rig that I run DCS on, for the most part, quite nicely.

I also have a Microsoft Surface that I just use for, well what it is designed to do. I was wondering if there was any way, I guess via 3rd Party software, that I could utilize the 'TouchScreen' ability for the MFD's. I mainly am learning the ins and outs of my favorite lady, F/A-18C.

I was just wondering, that is all

Maybe?

Here is an old thread about using it as a screen for the Ka-50. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=133891

What SkateZilla said is the interesting thing you could try.

Microsoft Surface + install bluestacks android emulator + then install DCS UFC for Hornet android app.

Not sure if this will work? Should I guess, may need a bit of playing around to get it working.

The latest version (Bluestacks 4) emulates Android Nougat (7.x.x) and the home screen lets you quickly access the Google Play store, installed apps

The UltraMFCD project is back on from SGT_BAKER. And he's working on a networking capability. Although it may be for Android/IOS only. You could ask him here:
