Thunderbird
Which bomb has high blast radius to take out ground targets at airfield? where you can get most out of it
Harker
Biggest you can go is the MK-84 and its guided variants, the GBU-10 (laser guided) and the GBU-31 (JDAM, GPS/INS guided). Or the AGM-154A JSOW, which dispenses cluster munitions, if you send it down a correct azimuth and select the appropriate burst height in order to optimize the dispersion pattern. Good for soft targets. Should work great for damaging aircraft parked in a row, for example. Edited June 2, 2020 by Harker The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Thunderbird
whats the difference between CBU99 & MK20
Eldur
AFAIK CBU-99 is the Navy version with a special coating for naval usage. Nothing that would make any difference in DCS though, just for the correctness - so you wouldn't carry the Mk.20 (also known as CBU-100 BTW) around in Navy planes. But I think the Marines use the Mk.20 instead.
