Martini
I was looking through Baltic Dragon's excellent new manual and noticed that it said: In DCS, the ability to exceed the elastic stop is provided by using a button, as flight sim joysticks don’t include a physical stop on the pitch axis. The button used is shared with the AP off feature. Is this correct? I have been able to pull 9g's without holding the AP off feature. I read through some earlier threads and got conflicting information.
ridbobkan
Well, pushing this button you would have been able to pull 10g's or more. It saved my a**, sorry, my life, twice, preventing from ground impact.

Well this is going to be fun :) Does the plane break easily like in the SU-27 or is it more likely that you'll GLOC first?
jojo
Well this is going to be fun :) Does the plane break easily like in the SU-27 or is it more likely that you'll GLOC first? No, the plane is light and a delta wing is very stiff. You can break Su-27 wing when you're above "combat fuel" = 5240kg. Max fuel is 9400kg. In such case you have fuel in forward fuselage tank and wing tanks. It's like the Su-27 carry external tanks internally, and you have flight limitations when you have fuel in it, like you would have with Mirage external tanks. Mirage => G-lock before damaging the plane. Mirage fanatic ! I7-7700K/ MSI RTX3080/ RAM 64 Go/ SSD / TM Hornet stick-Virpil WarBRD + Virpil CM3 Throttle + MFG Crosswind + Reverb G2.
