The 'backroom staff' also did a great job from the mission designer through to the commentators. Respect to all you guys. Thanks again. Did the Migs just start up faster/ or did they have a shorter taxi run? How come they got off to such a fast start? RAZBAM_ELMO Posted December 15, 2016 Share Posted December 15, 2016 Yeah we lined up all the same on the runway and selected emergency AB or secondary AB and climbed up to 2km then headed straight for the ships. Our adoption of Russian tactics in hitting hard with everything first seemed to overwhelm the Blue pilots. Once we got up to alt we actually cut out the AB and cruised in at full dry power at around M.1.3 1.2 ish. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane.
