Changing FPS counter color now possible

Knock-Knock

Recommended Posts

FYI: you can also create the file autoexec.cfg in C:\Users\$USER\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config with the following content:

options.graphics.statsColor = {250,250,250}

With this you don't loose your configuration, if you update DCS.

Further Information can be found in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Config/graphics_readme

Is there any way to map the FPC counter to a button, or different keybind. I have only ever had luck showing it with physically pressing CTRL + Pause key (which is a real PITA when your keyboard is not within reach while in sim rig in VR!).

You can even have a VA command to press that key combo and it doesn't work.

In my VA profile I have such an command and it is working without any problems.

MODULES: To much to list. But I stopped buying more, because of too much bugs in e.g. A-10C(II). @ED: Fix the bugs and I spend money on modules again. Promised.

I use NV Profile Inspector for limiting FPS, works nicely

I run DCS on an 2015 iMac, using BootCamp and drivers from BootCampDrivers.com. Unfortunately, the Limit-FPS feature from AMD doesn't work reliably for me, so I'm glad to have this parameter in my autoexec.cfg, because it provides nearly constant 30fps @1080p resolution, instead of jumping constantly from 30 fps to 60 fps.

Congrats - I would be very interested to see that command working.

I have tried everything including just press Ctrl then 0.2sec pause then Pause key then another pause then release Ctrl..still doesn't work.

You also can't re-map it - and also pressing Ctrl+Pause doesn't even link to the Frame rate counter command in the options menu.
