Normal Notepad changes the file a bit when you save it, and that's why it wasn't working for you, BuzzU.


Notepad++ preserves the 'invisible' formatting. It's a tiny download and far better for poking around files that aren't strictly text files.

Tried it with ++ - but colour has not changed for some strange reason?
