Swampy
Hello, I have been playing DCS on and off again for many years and I have never gotten into the multiplayer aspect of the game and I am looking to make that transition. I am a former United States Air Force E-3 AWACS Communications Operator and Technician with over 2000 hours flight time, and a current Avionics Supervisor in the civilian sector. I know military jargon very well and know what terms like smash (air speed), BRA (Bearing, Range, Altitude), and Rifle (AGM) are so you wouldn't have to hold my hand, but I am wanting to get into teamwork and tactics, which I don't have any (in-game) experience. I am looking for a group of people active in the US time zones, with good organization and things like planned missions and activities. I use Track IR5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and rudder pedals. Specs include a 7700k 4.5Ghz, 1080GTI, and 32g Ram. I own following DCS modules: A-10c AV-8B KA-50 FC3 Aircraft Will be picking up the FA-18 Thank you and I hope to hear from you Swampy
feefifofum
Hi Swampy. We are a 21+ group who hold weekly flights every Sunday at 8PM Eastern time, generally we have 12 or more pilots and run full scale CAP/SEAD/strike/transport cooperative scripted missions. We also host occasional pickup missions and training sessions. We consider ourselves a "casual serious" group that try to observe proper brevity and procedure but do not have the strict mandatory attendance of some groups you'll find. We run a dedicated practice server more or less 24/7 and will run a few 1 on 1 flights with you to familiarize you with our SOPs. If that sounds like what you're looking for feel free to pay us a visit. http://355thvfs.enjin.com Edited April 25, 2018 by feefifofum THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
Teetwo
VMFA-251 still has a few pilot openings available. We are an F/A-18C squadron currently training with the AV-8B until the F/A-18C module gets released. The squadron is led by a former Marine pilot and we have quite a few former military members on the roster too. http://www.vmfa251.com
blacknight3022
Hey there Swampy. Swing by our discord and say hello to some of our pilots and see if we're a group you'd be interested in. We're a US Naval Aviation group focused on the framework of a Carrier Strike Group with an associated Marine Expeditionary Brigade. We have a number of subordinate squadrons that are run independent of the overall group. The group is tied together by a common flight night (Sundays at 2000 eastern and Tuesday at 2030 eastern) creating a pretty immersive enviroment with a full airspace. We aim to fly 2 missions per month and 6 trainings per month, with an annual campaign of linked missions. CSG-1 currently has the following active squadrons: VMA-223: AV-8B Harrier VMA-231: AV-8B Harrier HMLA-167: UH-1H VFA-127: F-5E MACS-2: ATC/GCI/JTAC (Combined Arms & LoATC) Future Squadrons are staffed and ready to open: VFA-25: F/A-18C VMFA-122: F/A-18C VF-2: F-14B The group has about 35 pilots on roster right now and are growing. http://www.csg-1.com/ https://discord.gg/SE9dvFd Edited April 26, 2018 by blacknight3022
