Refueling at night, in a thunderstorm. No radar, no NVG

Yep, that was some "tanky", good job but for a grand finale forget Kobuleti... instead put on the wildly pitching deck with just enough vis. to show the lightning reflecting from the monstrous waves for a complete "seat" puckering event:thumbup:

PS, the strobe reflections in the clouds turned out to be pretty bland but as we all know all lighting in DCS needs some work.

Haha, thanks!

Night carrier landings are definitely on my to-do list. But that may take some time. There is just too much stuff to have fun with in DCS!

Major props for that. That was super-impressive!! I'm still trying to tank in daylight, ideal conditions. Gives me something to aim for.

Thanks, guys.

The whole thing was kind of an accident. I had started a couple of days before by playing around with the Hornet TACAN, trying to understand how operating it was different compared to the one in the Mirage.

DCS is like Wikipedia. You sure know when you dive in, but you never know when you get out, and with what...

Yeah, but in the world of ORM, is that even realistic?
