firmek
2018 seems to be shaping up to be an awesome year for DCS World...Can't Wait!!! AV-8, F-14, and F/A-18... That was supposed to be 2017 (awsome year for DCS) ;) IIR the last release we had was Viggen in January - shortly after Spit in December and a long brake so far. Harrier, Tomcat and Hornet will keep everyone busy for a long time but on the other hand I don't think we'll see any module shortly after them. Most probably we'll have to wait another year at least - my bet would for a module from Belsimtek. F/A-18, F-16, F-14, M-2000C, A-10C, AV-8B, AJS-37 Viggen, F-5E-3, F-86F, MiG-21bis, MiG-15bis, L-39 Albatros, C-101 Aviojet, P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk. IX, Bf 109 4-K, UH-1H, Mi-8, Ka-50, NTTR, Normandy, Persian Gulf... and not enough time to fully enjoy it all

Perhaps there will be a chopper or 2 as well? The Bo-105, and maybe the AH-1 or Mi-24P? I have a feeling we may see more major developers making announcements of their intentions too? The ball is definitely rolling now, so who knows?
Fredo_69
Yes, how about SAABs J-29 Tunnan to battle it out with the Mig-15 and Sabre? How about a first gen jet fighter? Like the Hawker Hunter, or maybe a straight wing fighter like the F-80 or F-84?
carss
Yes, how about SAABs J-29 Tunnan to battle it out with the Mig-15 and Sabre? That was a suggestion too, and since it's a plane with an Afterburner, why not a Mig-17 too while you're at it ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Planes: FC3, P-51, F-86, F-5E, Mirage 2000, F/A-18, F-14, F-16, Mig-19P :joystick: ED pls gib A-4 and F-4

It made a great difference for the UN troops in Kongo! And it didn't only serve in the Swedish Air Force, like the Viggen did. Systems vice I guess its a quite "simple" airplane to model? (Sertanely compared to the Viggen anyway.) But it used both attack rockets and later Sidewinders.
Fredo_69
While I am promoting the J-29 Tunnan, I can mention that it's cockpit has already been 3D-modeled by ScaleDetalils. CheckGear
The GR4 Tornado would be beastly. It would be perfect for the Strait of Hormuz map, since the British are bolstering their presence in the region one again. F-15E's another good option. Stryker2000
The A-4 is already being made (etc) Yeah, I'm aware of all this. When I get myself schooled on how to install mods, I'm intending to grab some of these, and skins as well. But what I'm hoping is that the various teams can afford to add some team members to speed up modeling in particular, as this seems to be a lot of the workload, maybe some more coders too to handle the flight and systems modeling. If these could be made available at FC3 level, that would make for a fantastic and well endowed virtual world of air battle. Team Red wish MiG-23/27, Su-17/22, Su-24, Su-30 C, Yak-130, Tu-16, Tu-95, Tu-22M Team Blue want AH-1W, AH-64, Alphajet, A-4, Jaguar, Tornado, F-16, A-6, A-7, F-111, F-15E, B-52, B-1B

Such a thing would be first day buy for me.... looks cool and cute, and has really decent tactical capabilities (for a trainer) My bet (more whishing than anything else) for Mig-23 or 27 or both, the saab family (all of them looks unique and quite capable all of them), or something european (tornado comes to mind)or Aermacchi M-346...which is pretty much the italian (western) version of Yak-130 (actually, it was a joint development between yakovlev and Alenia Aermacchi)
