Makes no sense that belly rails cannot hold Air-Air missiles

If you actually knew a thing or two about the things you are talking about you will find that it makes perfect sense

Makes no sense that belly rails cannot hold Air-Air missiles in M2KC.

You should address that complain to Dassault then...

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Actually I meant belly side rails, not center rail, which is for fuel tank.

Yes I know about plumbing and electrics , G-limits, weight limits, NATO standards, and locks, to make weapon station compatible with particular weapon. But on M2KC , side-belly stations, should be able to carry air-air NATO missiles. Just as outer stations should be have IRIS-T and AIM-9 series available.

Here is an illustration from a high quality high fidelity model kit. Shows Mica on belly-side(or chin) stations. In DCS we have Mirage 2000-5, an old AI only. Perhaps its because RAZBAM does not have MICA-IR or MICA-R missile specs.

Can you find documentation that shows that they can on the -C model? Or are you merely speculating?

What i found ( https://www.airvectors.net/avmir2k.html )states:

Primary armaments of the Mirage 2000C in the interceptor role were the Matra Super 530 medium-range semi-active radar-guided air to air missile (AAM) on on the inboard wing pylons, and the Matra Magic short-range infrared-seeking AAM on the outboard wing pylons. The Mirage 2000C could also carry air-to-ground stores, such as iron bombs, cluster bombs, or Matra 68-millimeter rocket pods, in its secondary strike role. It had no smart munitions capability, though it could carry laser-guided bombs (LGBs) if another aircraft or ground forces provide designation.

If there was an advantage to loading up AA missiles on all hardpoints, or on the belly ones, i cant see the military arbitrarily passing that up. While it doesn't make sense from where youre sitting, there could be a reason for it , such as (&im only speculating here) lack of a compatible data connection between the fighter and missile on those pylons or other incompatibilities

The old AI model (made by Eagle Dynamics) has been there for a very, very long time. Even before Razbam started develop for DCS :)

Razbam has specifically modelled the Mirage 2000C NOT the modern 2000-5 that can carry MICA.

You do realise, though, that that is a painting, right? Perhaps the Chinese model manufacturer's illustrator just didn't care so much for internal differences between a 2000C and a 2000-5.

This is pretty standard practice for scaled model makers. They put in the same box the options to make various variants of the same aircraft.

So the box is labeled "Mirage 2000C" and the painting on the box is an early Mirage 2000-5F in test with CEAM of Mont de Marsan, squadron 05/ 330 at the time (today 01/ 30).

And that painting is bad since it isn't the same number on the tail and on the nose gear door...

Many things don't make sense, like why can't aircraft simply carry all weapons and all pods on all pylons and all stations.

But then person learns the engineering limitations in weapons, aircraft and overall computers and designs.

Like already very confusing thing is that why does people believe that single fighter would be going to a air combat in full missile load, alone and expect to get any kills?

This model wrongly labels an AdLA Mirage 2000-5 for a C, the side belly pylons aren't integrated on the C and as far as I know, the MICA isn't integrated either.
