I'm new at this forum - and just started to research a lot about home cockpits. Already found a LOT of info which i needed,

but i can not seem to find any good anwer at this question:

I want to use an Eyefnity 6 card for:

3x main monitor

1x front console leftside

Left MFCD, Azimuth, Airspeed, stby alt, clock, UHF, AOA

1x front console rightside

Right MFCD, VVI, ALT, all engine gauges

1x right console warning lights & CDU

is this possible in any way?

Do i need to use Helios? Or another software programm?

Can i make this by adjusting .lua files?

tx in advance

thank you for your (very fast) answer!

What i would like to do though is to make a complete a-10c cockpit with all hardware switches possible. After this i would like to visualize the gauges with monitors.

since i would need 3 outputs for my main screen i got 3 left.

Maybe it would be better to us 1 monitor for the entire mid console.

Only thing left is the CDU and warning lights....

Oh, I understand, I misunderstood entirely what you wanted to do.

The number and location of monitors will really depend on how you do the mip. if its life sized then a monitor wont streacth across everything and you may have to have separate monitors for each mfd, then gauges, and cdu. You run out of monitors fairly fast.

The approach I am taking for myself, for now, is to have one monitor with all the gauges and another smaller, 4.3" screen for the cdu. Thats five in total.

If you have three for the main view and you need another for the cdu then it really gets tricky how you use only two for the mip. I dont think it can be done for a realistic layout so you may as well go with helios. At least thats an easy way to do it.
