Hi, thanks, now I was able to connect to the server. With pleasure I flew in several missions. Pointing to the enemy XV36 + sity_name was more convenient than like 43" 12' and this time I was able to find my target

I was trying to connect some minutes ago and it was impossible, got stuck in “please wait”... can’t wait to fly this server!

Try again. It often hangs on the first attempt.

Thanks! I have joined but unfortunately no F10 map so I could not reach any target. I don't know if this was a server issue though.

The F10 map is not hidden for players.

In any case, the targets are well described in the briefing, you can use a modern map to find them.

Thanks man! Also for the server. I will try again tomorrow but the map was not showing up but it was in SP and other MP servers.

Hi! I don't see the server in the list and can't find the IP. Can someone please provide it or is the server down?

EDIT: I finally found the server and joined for a sortie. Unfortunately the F10 map was not working, asked via chat the other pilots, and it was not working for them either. Fortunately, I know how to visually navigate so with Google Maps I arrived to the objective. I dropped the bombs from my Spitfire over German positions with good effect, then I did some strafe attacks.

I cannot express the joy I feel to have a server like this in DCS. This, paired with the updated Normandy map, new damage model incoming, new clouds, excellent flight model, clickable cockpits and P47 will start making DCS WWII more popular.

Thanks Phil for your server!

The server is still in testing so it is on and off at the moment.

I'm looking into the F10 map thing today

All missions on the server have been updated to V25.

Changes:

1. Improved and increased the amount of information given to German side from the Freya system regarding where Allied bomber raids are

2. Corrected spelling etc. errors in briefings

3. Lowered altitude of some allied bomber raids to bring them below contrail height (might bring some FPS improvements)

4. Changed engagement rules for AI low level Jabo and fighter bomber attacks (they should react to hostile fire now more readily)

5. reconfigured some flak batteries

6. Re-routed some AI pathing

7. Minor weather improvements based on historical information

6. Updated some AI unit names to match historical units

There are now 4 missions on rotation, from June 10 to June 12 1944. A 5th mission is in progress and should be added in the next week or so.

Have placed a gold star on my multiplayer list next to this server. After the recent update to the Normandy map this server has lots of potential to be the home for warbirds. Spent about 20 minutes flying around evening last having a look and it's very impressive. Only stumbled upon it after watching one of Philstyle's youtube videos about map updates. Great stuff!

All missions on the server have been updated to V27.

Changes:

1. Some more mission briefing errors corrected

2. Added more allied aircraft in France to enable a couple of virtual squads to field all their pilots (by request)

3. Added some new low-level AI patrols over friendly airfields to add to the atmosphere

4. FW190 A8 should be available at rear bases for Germans now too
